At the moment, Potluck is totally free! We are working on more advanced features that will be available for subscriptions only. Stay tuned!
You can edit you profile via Settings -> Profile. You can change your display name, profile picture and bio.
You can delete your account by navigating to the profile page: Settings -> Profile, clicking the Options Icon (top right cornet) and selecting Delete Account from the menu. Notice that all your data and recipes will be deleted without any recovery option.
Currently, we do not support adding custom categories. But we are happy to hear what you need and consider adding them as soon as possible! Suggest a new category
If what you are looking for is more personal category, please vote up for a feature request to support recipe tags. With tags, you can add any label/hash-tag you want to a recipe. I need #hashtags!
You can edit your recipes by clicking the Options Icon from the Recipe Card or the Recipe View. Notice you can only edit recipes you have created, not recipes saved by other authors.
Potluck is a personal cookbook app, meant to be shared with close friends & family. To find new recipes, invite you cooking buddies to use the app and start sharing recipes with each other!
Simple! You can always save other chefs recipes to your personal cookbook by:
- Ask you friend to share the recipe with you (via mail, message or any messaging app you prefer)
- Click the link in the message. The recipe will be opened in Potluck app
- Click the save button and voilĂ ! - the recipe is added to your cookbook.
Sure! You can share recipes with your friends by:
- Open the Potluck app and navigate to the recipe you wish to share
- Look for a 'Share' button or icon, usually located near the recipe details
- Click on the 'Share' button, which should present various options for sharing, such as via email, messaging apps, or social media platforms
- Choose your preferred method of sharing, and select the friend or contact you want to send the recipe to
- The app will generate a link to the recipe along with a message including the recipe information, so the next time a firend asks you for your recipe you will be able to share it with them is seconds!.
If you're looking to save your recipes externally, you might consider using the 'Share' feature to send the recipes to yourself via email or another messaging service, and then manually save them from there. This might not be as straightforward as an export function, but it can be a useful workaround
Your recipes in the Potluck App are safely stored on our Potluck servers. This means you can access them from any device, as long as you log in to the same Potluck account. It's a convenient way to keep your recipes secure and accessible wherever you go!
